The trip here has a suitable distance, and goes beyond the beautiful Skjern Enge, and past the iconic building at Stauning Whisky, and you are free to take some short breaks along the way and enjoy a refreshment or a snack. The only thing we have planned for you is dining at Restaurant Stauning Strand, where we can offer a delicious fish dish or a Parisian steak with one water, beer or a glass of wine.

 

When you have enjoyed the food and settled your stomach, the trip goes back to Skaven Strand.

 

4 hours have been set aside for this route, so there is room for a few pleasant breaks along the way.

Restaurant Stauning Havn is located right down to the authentic and cozy harbor in Stauning, and with a view of the many older boats and the small fishing huts you can enjoy a super delicious lunch.

 

You can choose between a delicious fish dish or a good Parisian steak with everything incl. one water, beer or a glass of wine.

This route is absolutely perfect for the group that wants beautiful nature, moped-friendly routes and some good food at Restaurant Stauning Strand.

Route to Stauning

18,8 km. (37,6 km. t/r)

The route here goes to Stauning across the beautiful Skjern Enge, and past Stauning Whisky, which is definitely also worth a visit. You just have to remember that the alcohol limit on a moped is the same as in a car if you book a tour with tasting.

 

The route does not include any entrance tickets or planned stops apart from the visit to Restaurant Stauning Havn, it is entirely up to you to plan that part of the route yourself, if you wish.

Route back from Stauning

The route here goes from Stauning to Skaven, and can be used when returning from Restaurant Stauning Strand.

Get answers if you have any questions

What should we do if we cannot start the moped?
Call +45 40 59 96 10 on weekdays and +45 40 43 24 95 on weekends, and we will come and solve it on the spot. If this is not possible, we will replace the moped with a new one, so that you can continue the trip.
How many mopeds can we rent?
Right now we have 30 mopeds available, and we always want to have a few in reserve in case, one of the mopeds needs to be replaced along the way. Feel free to contact us if you need more, and we'll see if we can solve it.
Where does the tour start?
You start at Skavenvej 26, 6880 Tarm. If you have a special event where you want a different starting point, contact us and we'll see what can be done.
Where does the tour end?
Normally the mopeds must be delivered to Skavenvej 26, 6880 Tarm. But if you wish to finish somewhere else, contact us, and we will figure out what is possible.
Do we have to pay a deposit?
We have decided that you do not have to pay a deposit, as long as there is no need for it. The only thing we require, if you rent our mopeds, is that we must have a photo of your driver's license. If damage occurs during the drive, we can claim up to DKK 2.500 to repair the damage, depending on the extent of the damage.
How old do you have to be to rent a moped?
You must have one person in the group who is at least 21 years old. The rest must be at least 15 years old and have a valid moped driving license or a valid car driving license.
Where can we drive to?
This route goes to Stauning Havn, but you decide for yourself which way you drive there. But we recommend using the route we have made, as it passes beautiful nature and moped-friendly roads.
What if the weather is bad on the day we have booked?
We have a weather guarantee. If the weather forecast (yr.no) promises more than 10 m/s or more than 4 mm of precipitation on the day and during the period you have rented the mopeds, you have the option to move your booking to another date.
Is it more fun than do it on bicycle?
Yes, we think so :-)
