The perfect moped picnic
A moped ride and picnic are combined in a very nice way on this route. The trip goes from Skaven Strand and through Bork, where you can make the first stop of the trip and enjoy a little refreshment at the harbor.
From Bork, the route goes past Bork Vikingehavn before continuing towards Nymindegab. On the way towards Nymindegab, you can slip out past Tipperne and see the beautiful scenery, if time permits.
When you get to Nymindegab, drive past Local Food and pick up a picnic basket, which consists of a delicious sandwich with cheese and ham made from local good ingredients, and a log to satisfy that sweet tooth and a local beer or apple juice to wash it all down with.
The entire basket can either be enjoyed at Local Food in their authentic premises, or by the beautiful view over the dunes and lakes at the edge of Nymindegab.
The picnic basket - Specially made for moped guests
In collaboration with Local Food, we have put together a picnic basket that fits right into the iconic Tomos Tours box, so you can take the basket with you on a trip if you want to enjoy it outside by the beautiful view at Nymindegab.
The basket is put together to satisfy both hunger and a sweet cravings, and of course quench your thirst with local drink. The picnic basket contains:
1 Sandwich
The sandwich is made with sea salt-cured ham that has been smoked over beech wood and matured for at least 8 months. The cheese has matured for at least 4 months and has a sweet and nutty aroma. In addition, there is homemade pesto and aioli in the sandwich topped with a little home-pickled red onions. Everything is produced and made by local food producers in Ringkøbing-Skjern and Varde municipality.
1 Cake
The cake is a delicious little thing to soothe that sweet craving after the sandwich, and you can taste the craftsmanship in the cake.
1 Local beer or apple juice
To quench your thirst, you can either choose a local beer or a local apple juice. Local Food has 8 local beer producers, so it will vary where the beer comes from.
Route to Nymindegab
The route to Nymindegab offers beautiful scenery and a pleasant stroll past Bork Havn, with opportunities for a little refreshment before the picnic basket is enjoyed at Nymindegab.
Route back from Nymindegab
The route here goes from Nymindegab to Skaven, and can be used when you are returning from Nymindegab.

You can rent up to 45 mopeds at a time, and we always have some mopeds in reserve in case something breaks. Please contact us if you need more and we will see if we can solve it.
You start at Skavenvej 26, 6880 Tarm. If you have a special event where you want a different starting point, please contact us and we will see if it is possible.
As a general rule, mopeds should be dropped off at Skavenvej 26, 6880 Tarm. However, if you would like to drop off somewhere else, please contact us to make an appointment.
We have chosen not to pay a deposit as long as it is not necessary. However, if damage occurs during the trip, we may charge up to DKK 3,500 to repair the damage, depending on the extent of the damage.
With us, you must have one person in the group who is at least 21 years old. The rest must be at least 15 years old and have a valid moped license or a valid car license.
We have created different routes, some with meals included and others without. You can also rent the mopeds on an hourly basis. So in principle you can ride wherever you want.
We have a weather guarantee. If the weather forecast (yr.no) promises more than 10 m/s in average wind or more than 4 mm of precipitation on the day during the period you have rented the mopeds, you have the option to move your booking to another date.
If you were born before January 1st, 1995, you may drive a moped 30 without a driver's license.
If you were born after January 1, 1995, you must have a moped driving license (AM driving license) - regardless of age.
