"Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the fun and nostalgia of going on a moped ride, regardless of whether you can figure out the mechanics or not. Should problems arise with the mechanics along the way, we will come and help so that you can continue on the ride. "
- Kristoffer, Tomos Tours

Take a tour on an old Tomos moped Take a tour on an old Tomos moped

Take a tour on an old Tomos moped

Tomos Tours started with a passion for old mopeds and unique experiences. When you drive on an old moped in the beautiful nature along Ringkøbing Fjord, there are some memorable moments to catch. There is an immediate freedom and, for some, a nostalgic feeling when you step on the kickstart, and just wheeling off at light speed, and a smile on your face.

Well, what is a Tomos? You probably know the popular Puch Maxi - most people do. We thought an alternative to the Puch was missing, and we know it is an iconic moped, and of course it deserves all the attention it gets. But here at Tomos Tours, we have chosen to dedicate our collection for Tomos mopeds because we also think it deserves to be more widely used.

The two moped brands are not really far apart. Tomos is actually the descendant of Puch. In 1954 they got the license from Puch to produce some of Puch's models in Tomos' name - First motorcycles, later mopeds, which became their greatest success. Tomos is therefore also a further developed product of Puch, and it has therefore also been made with 2 automatic transmissions, some even with electric start, suspension in front and rear. Yes, let's be honest, it's probably a bit of a "luxury model". But who wouldn't choose the "luxurious" option when it presents itself.

And yes, Tomos has proven to be the most solid moped based on the experience we have from numerous moped trips around the country with various moped brands ;-)

Petrol is not just petrol

At Tomos Tours all our mopeds are running on Aspen - for the simple reason that it is a 'no-brainer'. This is because:

  • Aspen gives a cleaner combustion. It is good for you, me, the moped and the environment.
  • Aspen lasts longer than regular petrol, so we are free from having to drain old petrol because it has lost its effect.
  • We also avoid the mixture becoming too "rich" and the moped smelling like a chimney. Passers-by are happy about that ;-)
